WW1 Diary of Herbert Kearse August 1915-April 1917
Herbert Kearse was born August 27, 1888 in Burford England. He moved to Burlington Ontario in October 1910. He married Louisa Deane and had two sons: Robert and Harold.
On September 3, 1915 he enlisted in the CEF (Canadian Expeditionary Force). His unit was the 86th Battalion. He became a Lance Corporal in charge of a Lewis Gun Crew and was killed on April 28, 1917. He has no known grave.
